About the role
- Senior Data Governance Analyst ensuring data accuracy, security, and ethical management. Drive collaboration within data governance policies to establish trust and business growth at Brooks.
Responsibilities
- drive cross-functional collaboration within a data domain to interpret and promote adherence to data governance policies and practices
- establish clarity and quality in policy enactment
- advocate for effective use of domain data across teams and projects
- liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure a unified approach to data quality and data project execution
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Steward or Data Analyst roles
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional global environment
- Strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust and strong working relationships across the company
- Experience operationalizing Data Governance policies, standards, processes and controls
- Strong functional understanding of data issues and remediations that need to be implemented to resolve issues, leveraging business processes and technical capabilities
- Experience with Data Catalog tools and a deep understanding of metadata management, data governance principles and data lineage concepts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and able to communicate clearly and concisely with functional experts, project teams and stakeholders
