About the role
- Architect, build, test, and deploy robust, scalable customer data pipelines
- Own end-to-end lifecycle of customer data from ingestion to activation-ready datasets
- Take technical ownership of customer data integration within data platform (AWS/SQL Server)
- Collaborate with CRM, data engineers, analysts, and marketing to deliver data solutions
- Design data structures and transformations to enable marketing measurement and activation
- Monitor and optimise pipeline performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
- Set standards and promote data engineering best practices
- Translate business requirements related to customer data into technical implementations
Requirements
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining complex production data pipelines
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics 365, HubSpot)
- Expert-level SQL and proficiency in ETL/ELT principles
- Experience with SQL Server and SSIS (current stack)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and core data services (S3, Redshift, Lambda/Functions, Glue)
- Deep understanding of data modelling techniques and ELT/ETL patterns
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical data solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bonus: Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, Looker
- Bonus: Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt)
- Bonus: Experience with Agile/Scrum and Big Data technologies
