About the role
- Operate and continuously develop our cloud-based data platform for Business Intelligence, Digital Analytics, Marketing Controlling, and Data Science
- Integrate new data sources into the data warehouse and take responsibility for quality assurance of imported data
- Design data architectures and ETL processes, implement them technically, and ensure the reliable operation of the platform
- Implement new requirements for data analyses with a focus on performance
- Independently contribute to prototype projects to support technology decisions
- Collaborate across teams with analysts and developers
Requirements
- You have worked in a comparable position after completing a degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Familiar with modern, agile, and object-oriented software development using Python
- Some experience in mathematical modeling and with common data science libraries such as Pandas, scikit-learn, StatsModels, or SciPy
- Ideally accustomed to using database systems (Exasol, Google BigQuery) and proficient in SQL
- Preferably experienced with cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform, Azure Synapse)
- Ideally familiar with common pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow)
- Always willing and able to independently and quickly learn new technologies
