Responsibilities
- Develop optimized data models using dbt in our AWS Redshift environment.
- Build scalable data transformations and aggregations for key insights.
- Analyze complex data and create sophisticated aggregation logic using SQL and Python.
- Translate reporting needs into efficient analytics solutions with Metabase, leveraging AWS infrastructure.
- Work closely with Data Engineering, bridging raw AWS data and actionable intelligence.
- Lead data analysis and reporting projects, driving impact across the organization.
- Collaborate directly with senior management and stakeholders, turning data into strategic recommendations.
- Support ongoing ad hoc and operational reporting, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
- Provide comprehensive data visibility across management, financial, operational, compliance, and audit reporting.
Requirements
- 5+ years in data analysis with a track record of delivering impactful insights.
- Experience in aggregation logic, data mart building, and report creation.
- Deep SQL knowledge, especially within data warehouses like Redshift or Snowflake.
- Proven DBT experience for data transformation, ideally in an AWS ecosystem.
- Understanding of data warehousing and ELT concepts, with experience on cloud platforms like Redshift.
- Familiar with Metabase or similar modern BI tools.
- Strong communicator, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda) is a plus.
