About the role
- Senior Compliance Analyst ensuring legal and ethical standards for suppliers at C&A. Promoting sustainable practices in alignment with the company’s global standards.
Responsibilities
- Work to ensure the legal, socio-environmental and ethical compliance of C&A’s supplier network, promoting sustainable and safe practices aligned with the company’s global standards.
- Support the area leadership on social and environmental challenges within the supply network;
- Serve as a reference for Supplier Compliance Analysts and support the SSC auditors and D.Os team;
- Manage compliance risks, including child labor, forced labor, discrimination, occupational safety and legal permits/licenses;
- Review audit reports to ensure the quality of records;
- Administer the onboarding/approval flow for new suppliers (compliance requirements) and the registration of new subcontractors;
- Implement and monitor corrective action plans following audits and compliance assessments;
- Analyze and validate suppliers’ legal and socio-environmental documentation in accordance with the General Conditions of Supply;
- Collaborate with global SSC teams to ensure alignment with international standards and corporate guidelines;
- Develop management reports and compliance KPIs with a focus on continuous improvement;
- Participate in due diligence processes and background checks for new suppliers;
- Support the management of whistleblower channels and internal investigations related to the supply network;
- Plan audits, assign them to the field team and monitor execution;
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Law, Environmental Engineering or related fields;
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in Compliance, ESG, Sustainability or related areas will be considered a plus;
- English (minimum intermediate – for reading materials and exchanging emails with the global team);
- Spanish is a plus;
- Power BI and metrics (intermediate to advanced Excel);
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Proven experience in supplier compliance, audits and socio-environmental risk management (audit or back-office).
