About the role
- Provide high quality, actionable insight to support the International Consumer business
- Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders at all levels
- Financial modelling including business plans and post initiative analysis
- Weekly and monthly performance reporting and presentation of key findings
- Spot opportunities to improve, enrich and automate reporting and analysis
- Drive development of the Commercial Finance function, advising on new ways of working and technologies
- Investigate and assist development of new commercial opportunities to drive sales, products and cost reduction
- Gather external and internal market information to support the business
- Work closely with Data Science, Commercial and Supply teams to access and generate insight
Requirements
- Experience in a commercial, financial or analytical role
- Proactive, can-do attitude
- Preferably worked within a digital, e-commerce, technology or retail environment
- Ability to work with pace and energy within a growth environment
- Ability to work independently within tight deadlines
- Creative problem solving to identify and enhance commercial and customer-oriented opportunities
- Experience of modelling and forecasting
- Understanding of broader analytical techniques
- Writing queries in SQL
- Ability to distil and communicate results of complex analysis clearly and effectively
- Team player with a 'roll your sleeves up' attitude
