Responsibilities
Represent the company in judicial and extrajudicial matters nationwide before the Judiciary, the Public Prosecutor's Office, labor unions, social security agencies and other entities related to labor and social security law.
Manage external law firms and review pleadings, legal opinions and documents, defending the company's interests in litigation, administrative proceedings and negotiations, aiming to obtain favorable rulings, settlement approvals and legal undertakings.
Provide internal legal advice, guiding company departments on legal compliance and risk mitigation.
Attend hearings, meetings and negotiations with public agencies and representative entities.
Monitor changes in legislation and jurisprudence affecting the company's activities, proposing preventive or corrective actions.
Act in the mediation and resolution of labor and social security disputes, seeking solutions aligned with the organization's interests.
Requirements
Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);
Intermediate English;
Proven experience in labor and social security law;
Strong command of labor and social security legislation;
Experience in an in-house labor legal department, including management of external law firms, reviewing pleadings, attending hearings, negotiating with public bodies and interacting with labor unions.
Postgraduate degree or specialization in Labor Law, Social Security Law or Corporate Law;
Experience in large companies or multinationals;
Knowledge of labor compliance and legal risk management;
Familiarity with digital legal systems and case management platforms.
