About the role
- Conduct research and analysis related to a variety of M&A tax advisory, transactions, and strategic issues
- Use tax technical knowledge to perform buy- and sell-side due diligence and assist in developing tax-efficient acquisition and divestment structures
- Develop reports, presentations, and other client-facing deliverables
- Collaborate with project team to manage workstreams and ensure deadlines are met
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members
- Interface regularly with clients to dig into problems in real-time and deliver ongoing thought partnership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or Taxation
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tax compliance or advisory/consulting
- Passion for developing client relationships and an appetite for building new skills
- Self-starter who readily identifies problems and instinctively looks for solutions
- Thrive in an ever-changing, dynamic work environment
- Critical thinking, analytical rigor, and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and desire to travel as required based on client location
- Enjoy participating in internal and external company initiatives such as community service, training, recruiting, and firm events
