Sr. Analyst responsible for creating accurate demand forecasts in the IDP Planning department. Collaborating with marketing, sales, and finance teams to optimize inventory and reduce waste.
About the role
- Develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses to enhance clients’ decision making
- Work closely with the modelling team, structuring economic problems into quantifiable analyses and deriving insights from model results
- Contribute to Aurora’s product development by identifying new opportunities and expanding capabilities
- Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements and define/deliver project scopes
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients
- Play an active role in client engagement: identify issues, form hypotheses, conduct analysis, and synthesize conclusions into recommendations
- Work on international projects focused on Poland with exposure to Czechia and Slovakia
- Operate in a dynamic, intellectually stimulating environment with autonomy and mentorship from experienced directors
Requirements
- A university degree in either a quantitative subject or a social science/environmental studies-related field with interest in quantitative analysis
- Recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme or first hands-on experience within the energy sector/consulting/research
- An ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex quantitative data and information
- Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments
- An ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical parties
- Demonstrated success in project management (e.g., at university) preferred
- Strong interest in energy markets; previous professional or academic exposure to energy beneficial
- Full professional fluency in English and Polish
- Desirable: full professional fluency in Slovak & Czech
- Desirable: understanding of the Polish/Czech/Slovak energy sector and challenges
