About the role

  • Develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses to enhance clients’ decision making
  • Work closely with the modelling team, structuring economic problems into quantifiable analyses and deriving insights from model results
  • Contribute to Aurora’s product development by identifying new opportunities and expanding capabilities
  • Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements and define/deliver project scopes
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to clients
  • Play an active role in client engagement: identify issues, form hypotheses, conduct analysis, and synthesize conclusions into recommendations
  • Work on international projects focused on Poland with exposure to Czechia and Slovakia
  • Operate in a dynamic, intellectually stimulating environment with autonomy and mentorship from experienced directors

Requirements

  • A university degree in either a quantitative subject or a social science/environmental studies-related field with interest in quantitative analysis
  • Recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme or first hands-on experience within the energy sector/consulting/research
  • An ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex quantitative data and information
  • Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments
  • An ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical parties
  • Demonstrated success in project management (e.g., at university) preferred
  • Strong interest in energy markets; previous professional or academic exposure to energy beneficial
  • Full professional fluency in English and Polish
  • Desirable: full professional fluency in Slovak & Czech
  • Desirable: understanding of the Polish/Czech/Slovak energy sector and challenges
