About the role
- Sr. Alternative Investments Analyst responsible for leading fund operations and investor relations at Fidelity. Collaborating with teams to enhance client experience and manage operational risks.
Responsibilities
- responsible for ensuring the Alternative Investment Investor Relations team successfully executes its support strategy on behalf of assigned funds
- aiding the team to evolve our capabilities to address new product types and mitigate operational risks
- helping drive improvements to our investor’s private fund experience
- crafting/maintaining procedures for associates and participate in cross training to ensure team is aware and implements any new processes or changes to a process
- demonstrating solid attention to detail, ability to evaluate problems and exhibit a methodical approach to solutions
- responding to operational issues timely and effectively, while identifying ways to gain efficiencies in the process
- refining, improving, and driving the service business plan strategy for long-term sustainability, based off data trends from past fund operational events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in fund operations, ideally in a client onboarding and servicing capacity
- Strong understanding of asset management middle office/back-office functions, particularly cash and security settlements
- Experience with private fund administration and/or transfer agent applications desirable
- Knowledge and an understanding of FinTech private fund platforms a plus
- Analytical, possessing superior research and problem-solving skills; ability to explain and resolve complex processes
- Self-starter, individual contributor
