About the role
- Senior AI Engineer developing AI solutions for language processing and Big Data. Engaging in client projects and advanced AI technologies to enhance operational capabilities and integration.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive consulting of our clients in the field of AI for designing their systems, processes and development workflows
- Designing, developing and operating cloud and on-premise software systems in the areas of AI and Big Data, in particular LLM-based solutions
- Selecting, integrating and training deep learning models
- Advising on the selection of technology stacks
- Converting models into high-performance, production-ready software systems
- Presenting and communicating within AI contexts
- Conducting design and code reviews
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience or a PhD
- Degree in Computer Science or a technical field with an IT background, or an equivalent qualification
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, ideally with LLMs, speech recognition, NLP or image recognition
- In-depth knowledge of current deep learning methods and architectures
- Extensive experience in Python and at least one other programming language such as Rust, Kotlin, C#, Swift or Java
- Knowledge and experience in software development methodologies
- Knowledge of Big Data architectures and technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Storm, Flink, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Neo4j and other NoSQL databases is an advantage
- Solid mathematical and algorithmic understanding
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift is a plus
- Familiarity with common cloud platforms and technologies
- Independent, goal-oriented and methodical working approach
- High level of initiative and ability to learn quickly
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
