About the role

  • Independently support accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting, including the dunning process and clearing of open items
  • Post bank statements and advices, prepare VAT returns (AT & CH) and Intrastat declarations
  • Responsible for management and posting of fixed assets
  • Support monthly and annual closings including provisions, foreign currency valuations, SOX documentation and reporting to the USA
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors and tax inspectors.

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration or commercial training plus further qualification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
  • Solid professional experience in financial accounting and tax law (UStG, HGB, US GAAP)
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (Infor advantageous), ideally Key User experience in an ERP implementation project
  • Independent working style, strong drive to take initiative, and solution- and goal-oriented mindset
  • Business-fluent German and English skills.
