Responsibilities
- Managing our Accounts Receivable team
- Accounting for all aspects of our wholesale business

- Collaborating with departments for reliable reporting and compliance
- Providing analysis for decision-making
- Maintaining accounting records for the wholesale business
- Tracking receivables, revenues, and expenses
- Preparing invoices and general ledger entries
- Reviewing and enhancing close procedures
- Developing a wholesale processes and procedures handbook
- Reviewing and accounting for contracts with new customers
- Onboarding new customers into our ERP and receivables insurance policy
- Leading meetings regarding wholesale activities
- Maintaining accurate supporting workpapers for month-end analysis
- Preparing and reviewing journal entries
- Supporting and supervising operational accounting functions (AR/AP)
- Assisting in the year-end audit and quarterly cutoff
- Performing analysis over P&L account classification and preparing monthly close flux analysis
- Assisting with review of staff accountants' journal entries and reconciliations
- Ad hoc responsibilities and reports as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 4+ years in an accounting role
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred
- CPA preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP software is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively across departments
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and familiar with internal control systems and procedures
