About the role

  • Ensure accurate and compliant accounting and tax reporting for all entities under German Management of P3
  • Supervise or review junior accountants or outsourced providers for accounting accuracy and consistency
  • Ensure compliance with local GAAP (HGB) and Group Accounting Policies
  • Support in improving accounting processes and automation
  • Key responsibility for Fixed Asset monitoring and related bookings according to internal procedures
  • Approval of invoices and related postings according to P3 procedures
  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g. Asset Management, Legal, Corporate Finance) and external stakeholders (e.g. auditors, tax advisors)
  • Participate in ad hoc projects related to system implementation or process optimization
  • Support during onboarding of new acquisitions and integration of accounting structures
  • Support Group Reporting with required reconciliations, bookings and explanations
  • Coordination, Review and approval of German monthly and annual VAT and CIT returns including filing and payments
  • Coordination of preparation and review of annual financial statements under HGB (approx. 14 entities)
  • Coordination with Luxembourg team for cross-border structures and other compliance-related matters
  • Act as key lead during tax audits, coordinating communication with internal departments and external advisors

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field; professional qualification (e.g. Steuerfachwirt or Bilanzbuchhalter) is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a real estate or multinational environment
  • Excellent knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and VAT regulations
  • Knowledge in the area of IFRS is desirable
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably Yardi, SAP, or equivalent)
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Hands-on, proactive mindset and strong attention to detail
