About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage and process all incoming invoices within the accounting team.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
- Post supplier invoices promptly and reconcile supplier accounts, including open items.

- Post and reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Identify opportunities to enhance and automate accounting processes and tools.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process under HGB and IFRS standards.
- Collaborate with auditors and external partners as needed.
Requirements
- A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or completed commercial vocational training (e.g., Industriekaufmann/-frau).
- Several years of practical experience in accounting, ideally in an international environment.
- Proficiency with DATEV or similar accounting software.
- Solid understanding of German tax regulations, especially relating to employee benefits and travel expenses.
- Familiarity with HGB and IFRS accounting standards.
- A structured, accurate, and solution-oriented way of working.
- Strong sense of ownership – you live by the principle “You build it, you run it.”
- Ability to manage timelines effectively and handle ad hoc requests with composure.
- Business fluency in German and English (both written and spoken).
