About the role
- Overseeing security operations at Volkswagen Manufacturing plants, ensuring employee safety and asset security. Analyzing incidents and coordinating security personnel and equipment efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth functioning of security operations at the Manufacturing plant (A-Plant) and satellite plants/facilities
- Analyse daily incident reports and implement actions for proactive security service
- Liaise with management on security issues to ensure employee safety
- Ensure upkeep of departmental equipment for security personnel
- Coordinate manpower allocation of security officers
- Prepare and present training for contract security personnel
- Coordinate audits and ensure timely administrative duties by senior security officers
- Participate in Duty Officer Duties for emergency control
- Audit the VW ID card operation
- Coordinate and control the Company public transport services as per production requirements
- Assess and update security work instructions and provider site instructions
- Evaluate national security staff deployment and request credit notes from service provider
- Measure security operational requirements as KPI’s
- Assess security measures for the SOFA operation
- Maintain a daily ‘live action plan’ to monitor activities and security requirements
Requirements
- Tertiary (Degree/Diploma) qualification in Security Risk Management
- Recommended additional qualification in business and finance management
- 5 years’ experience in Security
- A minimum of 3 years in security operational planning, organizing and controlling
- 2 years supervisory/leadership experience
