About the role
- SAP Developer creating S/4HANA Public Cloud extensions utilizing Key User Extensibility and RAP model. Collaborating with functional teams to deliver scalable technical solutions in Riga.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain S/4HANA Public Cloud extensions using Key User Extensibility (In-App Extensibility), including custom fields, business rules, logic, and UI adaptations.
- Build RAP-based (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) extensions and services for side-by-side scenarios when required.
- Develop and customize Fiori/UI5 applications to enhance user experience and business process support.
- Collaborate with functional teams (e.g., Finance/FICO) to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Review delivered developments, ensure adherence to SAP cloud standards, and maintain clean, maintainable code.
- Provide guidance and best practices to internal developers to strengthen cloud development capabilities.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud development.
- Strong knowledge of Key User Extensibility (Custom Fields, BAdIs, Logic, UI Flexibility).
- Hands-on experience with RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model) and Fiori/UI5 development.
- Understanding of SAP Cloud architecture, extensibility options, and integration scenarios.
- Familiarity with Git and modern development practices (clean code, testing, lifecycle management).
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken & written).
- Strong mid or senior profile with ability to support, review, and mentor other developers.
