About the role

  • Drive and achieve retail sales targets through effective planning and strategic execution.
  • Analyze sales trends, trade stock holdings, and historical data to maximize opportunities.
  • Identify and act on seasonal trends, optimize assortment planning, and initiate stock replenishments.
  • Monitor and manage inventory and ensuring healthy stock levels.
  • Manage sales budgets and effectively control costs to maximize profitability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (brand marketing team, VM, logistics, trainer, HR, etc.) to align on retail initiatives and brand activations.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and lead a team of Beauty Advisors (BAs) to ensure operational excellence, high productivity, and exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor and oversee the availability and usage of samples and testers in stores.
  • Conduct regular store visits to supervise visual merchandising, customer engagement, and staff performance.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with store management, retail partners, and key customers.
  • Implement effective loss prevention measures, including stock audits, shrinkage control, and damage handling.
  • Organize promotional activities, store events, and product launches in collaboration with the marketing team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in retail area sales operations, preferably in fragrances, beauty, cosmetics, or luxury retail.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with experience leading large retail teams (minimum 20+ BAs).
  • Demonstrated ability in sales analysis, forecasting, inventory control, and budget management.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good knowledge of department store operations and retail SOPs.
  • High commercial acumen with strong understanding of fragrance trends and customer preferences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to visit frequently between stores in Jakarta.
  • Fluent in English.
