About the role

  • Serve as Technical Lead in Resilience within the Technical Office of Airbus Protect's Cybersecurity Consulting business unit
  • Guide, mentor and develop a team of resilience consultants and technical advisors and animate the internal CoC Resilience community
  • Act as technical authority for resilience and lead strategy for Business Continuity and Crisis Management portfolio
  • Develop and execute comprehensive, complex and innovative resilience strategies for clients
  • Collaborate with Technical Leader for Risk and Managed Services to integrate risk analysis, threat intelligence and align incident response processes
  • Provide technical expertise to support sales and business development and engage with external security communities
  • Support capability development, learning and career paths for resilience competencies
  • Establish technical monitoring of the Resilience landscape and prioritise Research & Technology activities
  • Define and develop new resilience services and translate R&T outcomes and market intelligence into client value
  • Oversee development and provision of tools, templates and methodologies to improve consulting delivery
  • Facilitate strategic communication to keep team, stakeholders and clients informed about security initiatives and project progress
  • Regular place of work is Munich/Ottobrunn; flexible placement between company locations in Germany, France and the UK if agreed by the company

Requirements

  • Relevant, completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable courses (or equivalent knowledge/skills acquired in other ways)
  • Extensive subject-specific knowledge and experience in business continuity, crisis management, incident management, disaster recovery and resilience
  • Proven experience in leadership or supervisory roles guiding and mentoring resilience teams
  • Expertise in business continuity planning, crisis management, incident response, disaster recovery
  • Familiarity with resilience standards and frameworks (ISO 22301, ISO 22361, ISO 22320, ISO/IEC 27031, NIST SP 800-34, BSI Standard 100-4 or similar)
  • Capability to develop and maintain resilience policies and procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of resilience methodologies and tools, including business continuity planning software, crisis management platforms, and incident response frameworks
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive attitude to stay updated on latest security threats and industry best practices
  • Industry certifications such as CBCP, MBCI, CRISC or similar are a plus
  • Excellent command of German and English; knowledge of French is a plus
  • A security clearance is required or must be issued by the responsible authorities
