About the role
- Research Scientist role focused on Renal and Urinary solutions for sick pets. Engage in research projects and collaboration in a multicultural environment at Royal Canin in France.
Responsibilities
- Identify innovative solutions in both Renal and Urinary territories for sick pets
- Manage approved research projects within the research program
- Responsible for full execution of research projects including idea generation and protocol setup
- Engage with the Core Health Research team to generate and demonstrate new research hypothesis
- Collaborate with the Design team regarding scientific evaluation of new diagnostic tools and devices
- Communicate relevant scientific/technological findings to key business and external audiences
Requirements
- Doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM or equivalent) preferred
- MSc or PhD preferred
- Developed an area of expertise in line with nutrition, veterinary science, animal science and/or animal physiology
- Post Doc or initial experience of 2 years of Research & Development in a corporate environment is a plus
- Fluency in English both verbal & written
