About the role

  • Registered Architect overseeing design services for facilities projects in a consulting firm. Leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of architectural design services to multiple projects simultaneously, including the production of construction documents and specifications
  • Lead the Architecture and Interior Design team under the direction of the project manager. Oversee the development of all discipline deliverables (e.g., drawings, specifications, design narratives, calculations)
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time and within the approved budget, meet the highest quality standards, and exceed client and interested party expectations
  • Serve as discipline lead or project manager on select projects and assignments
  • Help prepare proposals and develop fees
  • Provide leadership and training to junior staff members, guiding their professional development and fostering a supportive studio culture
  • Actively participate in company efforts to retain high-quality personnel

Requirements

  • Registered architect in at least one state
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience
  • At least 5 years of experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external parties
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
  • Experience with design-bid-build construction projects
  • Experience with vertical new construction, building renovation, and civil or site infrastructure construction projects
  • Experience with construction building codes and permitting processes
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance; Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
