About the role
- Oversee process safety management system for Flavours & Fragrances business and technologies
- Ensure compliance with corporate and legal safety standards and implement PSM foundational blocks
- Lead process risk identification and assessment projects across region and sites
- Carry out PSM assessments, plant inspections and audits
- Support development, prioritization and execution of risk assessment actions
- Collaborate with operations on process safety for chemical and compounding processes, including plant design, equipment integrity and operation
- Implement and enhance risk analysis methodologies, guidance and technical guidelines
- Ensure regional PRA site catalog governance and calibrate risk portfolio
- Enhance process safety knowledge and culture through training
- Participate in cross-functional projects and manage external process safety consultants
- Report to Head of Global Process Safety
Requirements
- Bachelors (or higher) in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering
- 8 years or more experience in Chemical Process Safety
- Experience working in a multicultural environment and within a matrix organization
- Experience leading PSM in chemical and compounding production plants, laboratories and R&D chemical plants
- Experience controlling hazards of chemical and compounding processes in plant design, equipment integrity, and operation
- Solid knowledge of ATEX, Safety Instrumented Systems, or fire prevention establishment
- Certificate in Process Safety Management such as CCPS, NEBOSH PSM is an advantage
