About the role
- Quality Assurance Specialist working with an international team to ensure quality standards for bikes and accessories through product and process compliance. Engaging with suppliers and analyzing performance across the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other departments to define product and manufacturing processes
- Ensure product quality and process compliance with company standards
- Analyze assembler and supplier performance
- Conduct site visits and supplier audits (ISO 9001)
- Drive supplier development by continuously improving and optimizing production processes with existing partners
- Conduct root cause analysis in collaboration with suppliers to identify and resolve issues sustainably
- Manage and oversee the NCC
- Share and exchange information with colleagues in Asia
Requirements
- Degree from an HTL (Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics) or a university degree in a relevant field
- Experience in quality assurance is a plus
- Strong affinity for and interest in bicycles
- Willingness to undertake solo travel (medium-term plan) to visit assemblers and suppliers worldwide
- Diligent and structured approach to work
- Ability to analyze processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Very good German and English skills
- Class B driving license
