Responsibilities
A Day in the Life of a Quality Assurance Engineer at Qualco will include:
Preparing detailed test cases based on business requirements and design specifications for private and public sector projects;
Executing comprehensive manual testing and API testing to identify discrepancies, ensure compliance with specifications and verify system reliability and performance. Acts independently. Escalates issues in a timely manner;
Collaborating closely with development team and cross-functional team members to prioritize and address issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products;
Reporting test results, tracking defects in Jira and following up on resolution ensuring timely and effective testing closure before Release;
Conducting Test Closure activities, including archiving results, Release notes and relevant documentation in the configuration management system;
Helping others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice. May conduct training sessions for peers or customer trainings for our deliverables;
Supporting UAT process (Issues tracking, resolution and re-test);
Contributing to our On Time/On Budget/On Quality success story;
Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
**What we are looking for**
**Professional Experience & Qualifications**
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer science, Engineering, or related field;
Minimum 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with adaptability to various testing methodologies;
Strong Communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues independently and effectively;
Possess a firm command of both the Greek and English language (oral and written);
Experience with black box testing techniques;
Desire to grow in areas of expertise as needed by the evolving needs and goals of the company.
**Technical Skills**
Knowledge of basic MS Office, HTML, CSS, SQL;
Experience testing Web services (REST and/or SOAP) using some of the following tools: Postman, soapUI;
Have a working experience in Jira/confluence and test management tool (Zephyr) would be considered a plus;
Experience working with Webdriver, Robotframework, Selenium, GitLab or equivalent tools and technologies is a plus;
ISTQB Foundation certificate in Software Testing is advantageous but not required.
