About the role

• Senior QA Analyst responsible for testing the Intelex platform within a cross-functional agile team. Conducting manual and automated testing while documenting defects and establishing good relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and exploratory testing of the product.
• Responsible for the execution of manual and automation test cases (scripts) that ensure comprehensive testing
• Work in a Scrum team using Agile best practices
• Fully document any unexpected anomalies or defects identified in testing with instruction of how to reproduce each
• Troubleshoot defects and manage defect tracking and resolution processes
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with peers in Development, Product Management, Professional Services and external clients
• Participate in improving processes, automation and QA integration to DevOps culture

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including 2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment.
• Testing web and mobile software applications in a SaaS or on-premises: 2+ years
• Cypress automation experience and/or Appium: 2+ years
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and a passion for Quality Assurance
• A continuous learner, with knowledge of current industry-standard automation testing techniques and the drive to share knowledge with your colleagues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time and risk management skills
• Team player with effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
• Flexible, self-motivated, and comfortable working with multiple teams

• Solid understanding of quality assurance principles and practices, particularly within an agile software development practice
• In-depth experience writing and executing test plans and test cases from requirements and technical specifications
• Experience with defect and work item tracking systems like JIRA
• Experience with testing cloud/distributed architectures, REST APIs & Microservices (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience (required)
• Certification within a recognized Quality program, such as CTFL, CASQ, CSQA or CSTE (preferred).
