About the role

  • QA Lead developing a comprehensive quality assurance strategy for robotic systems. Leading a team and implementing automated testing frameworks in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

  • Design, lead, and execute a comprehensive QA strategy that ensures the reliability, performance, and quality of our entire platform.
  • Lead and grow the Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture of quality across the organization by mentoring team members and defining best practices.
  • Architect and implement scalable and maintainable automated testing frameworks.
  • Develop and manage test plans for our mixed fleet of mobile robots including testing in both high-fidelity simulations and on physical hardware.
  • Establish processes for validating our cloud services and AI-powered inspection skills.
  • Integrate QA processes seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines and provide clear feedback to development teams to continuously improve product quality.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • More than 5 years of proven experience in a QA Lead or Senior QA role, with a track record of defining test strategies and leading testing efforts for complex software products.
  • Strong experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Selenium, Cypress) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python is highly preferred).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like GitLab or Jenkins in a Linux/Ubuntu environment.
  • A holistic understanding of complex, distributed systems.
  • A deep-seated passion for quality assurance and a relentless drive to ensure products are not just functional, but also robust, reliable, and user-friendly.
  • An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with software developers, product managers, and robotics engineers to achieve shared quality goals.
