About the role

  • Review functional requirements, specifications, and design documents to ensure full understanding and test coverage
  • Design, document, and execute detailed manual test cases for web applications, internal tools, and integrations
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing to ensure software quality and performance
  • Execute UI testing across multiple browsers and devices, ensuring consistent behavior and responsive design
  • Test new and existing functionality for bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues, reporting defects in detail
  • Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Managers to clarify requirements and validate fixes
  • Ensure defects are properly tracked, verified, and closed in Jira or other tracking tools
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies, daily stand-ups, and release readiness reviews
  • Maintain structured and up-to-date test documentation in TestRail or equivalent systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and quality standards across teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience as a Manual QA Engineer or Software Tester
  • Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Solid grasp of REST API, HTTP, JSON, and WebSocket concepts
  • Skilled in using Jira, BrowserStack, TestRail, DevTools
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with SDLC
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Good written and spoken English
