About the role
- QA Analyst at TechBiz responsible for ensuring software quality through planning, execution, and automation of tests. Collaborating with development teams to define strategies and best practices in QA.
Responsibilities
- Plan test strategies and scopes for software deliveries;
- Develop and execute manual and automated tests;
- Automate test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks;
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects clearly and accurately;
- Perform regression, performance, security, and usability tests;
- Analyze requirements and define acceptance criteria together with the team;
- Document test evidence and results for audit and control;
- Support and mentor junior analysts and trainees;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and practices;
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective);
- Monitor quality metrics and track product indicators.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of functional and non-functional testing (performance, security, regression, and integration)
- Experience testing web and mobile systems and RESTful APIs
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and QA-focused DevOps practices
- Experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework, Appium
- Ability to create and maintain automation scripts integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of languages such as Python or JavaScript for automation
- Proficiency with test and bug management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail)
- Experience testing APIs with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Insomnia
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with Git and continuous integration.
