About the role
- Public Cloud Infrastructure Engineer managing cloud infrastructure resources for customer-facing services. Collaborating with engineering leads to enhance cloud capabilities in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
- Delivering, maintaining, and securing infrastructure resources that host colleague and customer facing services.
- Work collaboratively with the Engineering & Product Owner Leads, in building and executing road maps.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of our goals, driving prioritisation, escalate impediments, acting on learnings and demonstrating successes.
- Be a role model and mentor early career engineers to advance their technical skills.
Requirements
- Experience with configuring and deploying a broad range of storage, analytics and AI capabilities on either Google Platform or Azure.
- Understanding of data architecture including data ingestion, persistence, streaming and consumption patterns
- Exposure to Machine Learning, Data Science and AI use cases and tooling
