About the role
- Project Manager overseeing full lifecycle of complex projects at Strongbridge as they serve federal government clients. Engaging with Agile teams and ensuring project success.
Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of complex projects in the area of critical business applications.
- Daily interaction with customer stakeholders.
- Management and coordination of one or more Agile development teams.
- Analyze new and complex program-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the program.
- Identify and resolve issues that may negatively impact a project or project deliverables.
- Provide continuous improvement by re-engineering of processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 10 years relevant experience in project management, overseeing development projects using various Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.
- At least 10 years of proven experience in federal government program/project management.
- Strong experience planning and managing Agile Sprint cycles using tools such as Jira, etc.
- Excellent management skills for leading a team of application developers, analysts, system administrators, test engineers, and other positions as assigned.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and meeting management expertise with strong presentation and facilitation skills, including experience with executive client facing interaction.
- Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Professional Suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
