About the role
- Project Manager overseeing CAPEX development works at TfL. Managing teams and ensuring compliance with safety and project delivery standards in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage both internal and external teams covering inception and early stage surveys, design, construction and handover
- Work with the Sponsor (asset manager) to develop plans for the delivery of multiple projects
- Plan and manage the effective delivery of the works from inception to completion
- Coordinate with the operating businesses in accordance with all company procedures
- Undertake contract administration tasks in relation to external contractors
- Ensure works are completed within allocated budget and comply with safety requirements
Requirements
- Trained in a construction or civils associated discipline
- Significant relevant proven experience in a project environment
- Working knowledge of Building Regs
- Understanding of T&C Planning processes (Desirable)
- Broad knowledge in building related disciplines
- Good working knowledge of CDM 2015, Risk Assessments
- Knowledge of contractual issues in a project environment
- Understanding of legal aspects, financial control, and procurement processes (Desirable)
- Knowledge and understanding of planning and project management tools and techniques (Essential)
