About the role

  • Manage both internal and external teams covering inception and early stage surveys, design, construction and handover
  • Work with the Sponsor (asset manager) to develop plans for the delivery of multiple projects
  • Plan and manage the effective delivery of the works from inception to completion
  • Coordinate with the operating businesses in accordance with all company procedures
  • Undertake contract administration tasks in relation to external contractors
  • Ensure works are completed within allocated budget and comply with safety requirements

Requirements

  • Trained in a construction or civils associated discipline
  • Significant relevant proven experience in a project environment
  • Working knowledge of Building Regs
  • Understanding of T&C Planning processes (Desirable)
  • Broad knowledge in building related disciplines
  • Good working knowledge of CDM 2015, Risk Assessments
  • Knowledge of contractual issues in a project environment
  • Understanding of legal aspects, financial control, and procurement processes (Desirable)
  • Knowledge and understanding of planning and project management tools and techniques (Essential)
