About the role

• Project Manager responsible for managing project delivery and client relationships in retail consulting. Overseeing project plans and ensuring successful execution of solutions for retailers in various processes.

Responsibilities

• Successfully manage the delivery of end-to-end projects and manage client expectations.
• Create and manage roadmaps and project plans.
• Manage day-to-day monitoring tasks and activities, and initiate corrective action where necessary in order to keep the project on track.
• Manage the project based on the agreed scope as defined in Statement of Work.
• Manage scope creep, ensure change requests are clearly called out, agreed, and impacted against the timeline.
• Continually assess action items, risks, and issues maintaining risk and issue logs and contingency plans.
• Prepare and deliver reporting and escalate any issues, as appropriate & in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain backlog of product enhancements to meet tactical needs and strategic goals.
• Provide counseling & coaching, oversight, and support for teams.
• Manage project(s) financials, including the development of financial plans.
• Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with excellent academics in business or technology disciplines (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science).
• 3-5+ years of experience in consulting or previous experience in process design and requirements gathering for software delivery.
• Strong attention to detail, focus, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
• An ability to create and maintain strong cross-functional internal relationships and client relationships through strong communication skills.
• A collaborative attitude and working style, willingness to share and use the best ideas.
• The ability to be creative while also working towards goals and timelines.
• The ability to lead projects and work with minimal supervision.
