About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead challenging research and industry projects in the field of Artificial Intelligence
- Take overall responsibility for content and lead interdisciplinary project teams
- Develop new research topics, project concepts and proposals
- Network and collaborate with partners, companies and institutions at the growing AI hub in Heilbronn
- Publish and present research and project results at scientific conferences and in academic media
- Transfer scientific findings into practical applications — possibly including own start-up or spin-off activities
- Long-term: opportunity to assume a team leadership role
Requirements
- Strong academic degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field; a PhD is welcome
- Several years of experience in executing and leading research or development projects
- Solid knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, language models and software development
- Very good presentation and communication skills in German and English
- An entrepreneurial, creative and pragmatic personality who takes responsibility, thinks strategically and enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration
