Responsibilities
Lead challenging research and industry projects in the field of Artificial Intelligence
Take overall responsibility for content and lead interdisciplinary project teams
Develop new research topics, project concepts and proposals
Network and collaborate with partners, companies and institutions at the growing AI hub in Heilbronn
Publish and present research and project results at scientific conferences and in academic media
Transfer scientific findings into practical applications — possibly including own start-up or spin-off activities
Long-term: opportunity to assume a team leadership role
Requirements
Strong academic degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field; a PhD is welcome
Several years of experience in executing and leading research or development projects
Solid knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, language models and software development
Very good presentation and communication skills in German and English
