About the role
- Project Engineer managing developer and third-party funded infrastructure projects for Transport for NSW. Focusing on project delivery, stakeholder relationships, and compliance with TfNSW standards.
Responsibilities
- Be at the centre of developer and third-party funded infrastructure projects
- Ensure every requirement is delivered smoothly from concept through to handover
- Lead and administer contracts for road, bridge, traffic signals and any other TfNSW infrastructure projects
- Manage project delivery from planning through to completion
- Oversee service providers and control costs
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships while negotiating and administering WADs
- Help build a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and TfNSW specialists
Requirements
- Relevant civil engineering qualifications (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in road and bridge projects from design through to completion
- Solid understanding of WHS, quality, risk, and environmental management systems
- Knowledge of materials, equipment, and techniques used in construction and maintenance according to TfNSW standards
- Strong project and contract management skills
- Capability of managing multiple priorities while building effective stakeholder relationships
