About the role
- Support Month-end and Year-end closing by preparing and analyzing cost and financial data
- Ensure integrity of financial data in Oracle iPMS Project Management System and provide monthly analysis and reporting for Korschenbroich
- Support the Korschenbroich Process business and provide ad hoc Korschenbroich support
- Cost tracking and control including variance analysis between budgeted and actual costs
- Support annual budget and quarterly forecasts including preparation and analysis by cost center
- Prepare annual hourly rates (machine / labor / overhead) for the plant as well as for Engineering, PMO and Quality
- Regular reporting of sales and booking data for each business Value Stream
- Ongoing analysis of Nuclear & Process Project Orders regarding profitability and monthly cost allocations and support project management team
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in accounting or finance (preferably cost accounting in a medium-large industrial company)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables
- Experience with SAP and Oracle (Oracle iPMS Project Management System preferred)
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of cost accounting methodologies and principles (preferred)
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, SQL or other Database Management System (preferred)
- Fluent in German (preferred)
