About the role
- Programme Manager responsible for designing and delivering strategic initiatives for Smoothed Managed Funds. Collaborating across teams to assure alignment with investment strategies and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning and delivery of strategic initiatives within Smoothed Managed Funds portfolio
- Apply specialist knowledge to shape programme outcomes
- Collaborate with product teams and third-party delivery partners
- Manage project sponsor and steering group communications
- Oversee significant project budgets of up to £50 million
- Implement robust governance and control environments
- Produce project documentation in line with objectives
- Use advanced tools for project delivery
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Smoothed Managed Funds and their role in retirement journeys
- Experience working with or within investment product teams
- Knowledge of fund governance, pricing structures, and risk management principles
- Ability to translate technical product features into business benefits
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Leadership experience in regulated environments
- Line management of Specialist and Associate project managers plus matrix management of many more
- Provide strong leadership by proactively coaching, mentoring, supporting, and developing teams
