About the role

  • Conduct thorough product discovery to understand user needs and define clear product requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers and development teams to create and iterate on product prototypes and MVPs.
  • Establish and implement robust product analytics frameworks to track key metrics and gather user feedback.
  • Analyze data and user feedback to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
  • Work with geology and data science SMEs to translate technical requirements into actionable product features.
  • Partner with the content team to develop comprehensive training materials and documentation.
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback and validate product assumptions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a strong track record of delivering successful software products.
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management.
  • Expertise in product discovery, requirements definition, and product analytics.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with product analytics.
  • Experience working with technical subject matter experts and acting as a translator with the rest of the organization.
  • Experience working with data heavy products.
  • Nice to have Experience working with geoscience or mining data is an asset.
  • Experience working with Unity 3D rendering engine is an asset.
  • Experience with 3D modeling software, machine learning, or iOS development is highly desirable.
