About the role

  • Product Manager overseeing product lifecycle and leading development at LTX, a fintech startup. Prioritizing and collaborating with teams to enhance trading platform efficiencies and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, analysis, and documentation of the current- and future-state business processes that require product development
  • Assess the cost-benefit profile of potential functionality to aid the business in rational prioritization
  • Document decisions, procedures, processes, and functional requirements to ensure consistent internal understanding of product features, capabilities, and evolution
  • Develop and maintain a high-quality backlog of functional requirements to drive product development
  • Write and validate specifications with development team members, and other partners to ensure on-time completion with all necessary sign-offs and training of sales team
  • Provide status reports to management on an ongoing basis, stating progress, risks and issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree related to business, finance, or information technology is preferred, experience in corporate bond market a plus
  • 3-5 years fixed income trading, or e-trading, experience
  • Solid working knowledge of institutional bond trading practices and systems
  • A resourceful self-starter who is comfortable interacting and coordinating with numerous internal and external partners; able to work effectively on a consistent basis with minimal supervision
  • Strong and proactive communicator
  • Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and manage time appropriately
  • Ability to articulate both business and product issues in writing as well as verbally
  • Ability to quickly understand new concepts and adapt accordingly
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through managing multiple tasks and project deliverables in a deadline driven environment
  • A willingness to be flexible, prioritizing problems that are most pressing and using the most appropriate tools
  • Technical writing skills, JIRA
  • Knowledge of UX design – UX PIN, Figma, Canva, etc a plus
