About the role
- Product Manager overseeing product lifecycle and leading development at LTX, a fintech startup. Prioritizing and collaborating with teams to enhance trading platform efficiencies and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, analysis, and documentation of the current- and future-state business processes that require product development
- Assess the cost-benefit profile of potential functionality to aid the business in rational prioritization
- Document decisions, procedures, processes, and functional requirements to ensure consistent internal understanding of product features, capabilities, and evolution
- Develop and maintain a high-quality backlog of functional requirements to drive product development
- Write and validate specifications with development team members, and other partners to ensure on-time completion with all necessary sign-offs and training of sales team
- Provide status reports to management on an ongoing basis, stating progress, risks and issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree related to business, finance, or information technology is preferred, experience in corporate bond market a plus
- 3-5 years fixed income trading, or e-trading, experience
- Solid working knowledge of institutional bond trading practices and systems
- A resourceful self-starter who is comfortable interacting and coordinating with numerous internal and external partners; able to work effectively on a consistent basis with minimal supervision
- Strong and proactive communicator
- Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and manage time appropriately
- Ability to articulate both business and product issues in writing as well as verbally
- Ability to quickly understand new concepts and adapt accordingly
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through managing multiple tasks and project deliverables in a deadline driven environment
- A willingness to be flexible, prioritizing problems that are most pressing and using the most appropriate tools
- Technical writing skills, JIRA
- Knowledge of UX design – UX PIN, Figma, Canva, etc a plus
