About the role
- Visual Designer with 2–5 years of UI/UX experience at ZeroTier. Collaborating with Product and Marketing teams to create engaging, user-friendly designs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product team to design intuitive user interfaces and improve overall ZeroTier customer-lifecycle experience.
- Contribute to and help maintain a consistent design system aligned with ZeroTier’s brand and product identity.
- Support marketing initiatives by creating digital and print assets (presentations, social graphics, email templates, web visuals, event collateral).
- Optimize website and in-app/platform visuals to drive consistency, engagement, sign-ups, and conversions.
- Support product workflows through wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Partner with product managers, marketers, and engineers to ensure seamless implementation of design work cross-functionally.
- Stay current with UI/UX trends, accessibility standards, and emerging design tools.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional design experience, ideally with software or technology companies, or in a product-driven environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design and UI/UX-type projects.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and similar design tools.
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools; ability to translate marketing flows and end-user needs into clean, intuitive designs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AI-leaning creator tools like Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL-E, or Canva.
- Understanding of responsive and mobile design principles.
- Strong eye for typography, color, and layout as well as an attention to detail.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Additional skills in motion graphics, video editing, or basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a strong plus.
- BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness/ability to travel and time shift to match cross-functional team efforts.
- The primary language of the company is English. Additional languages (ex. Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Korean) are also a plus.
