About the role
- Lead product and service design for Haven's migraine care platform; collaborate with clinicians, engineering, and founders to scale experiences and shape design culture.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve Haven's care delivery platform as the company scales, focusing on end-to-end service journeys.
- Own and define the end-to-end experience and design of key areas of the service journey.
- Work closely with clinicians, operations, and patients to deeply understand the people who touch our service and rally the Haven team around their needs.
- Explore, iterate, test, and deliver new product solutions and detailed UX and UI designs to continuously evolve and improve the care delivery platform.
- Build team processes and culture—setting a positive tone within the Design team and across the company.
- Collaborate with founders, engineering, operations, and clinical teams to deliver services that meaningfully improve patients' lives.
Requirements
- Senior-to-lead level product/ UX/ Service Designer, 6+ years of experience delivering and collaborating cross-functionally at every stage of the product development process.
- Portfolio that showcases your ability to dig into complex workflows, understand user needs and requirements, and distill them into delightfully simple design solutions.
- Eye for detail, consistently demonstrating a high degree of craft and proficiency with visual communication design.
- Strong product sense, comfortable with working without a formal product management function with the ability to balance speed vs. scalability tradeoffs.
- Comfort with early-stage startup ambiguity, collaboration, and willingness to go beyond the boundaries of your role to achieve goals.
- Background in healthcare or a regulated industry is helpful but not required.
