Principal Architect at Qodea, shaping cloud architecture and enhancing Google Cloud product sales. Engaging with stakeholders to address technical challenges and enhance customer success.
Responsibilities
Increase the market penetration of Google Cloud products and services.
Work closely with colleagues at Qodea and collaborate with Google to nurture existing customers and identify new opportunities.
Work with the commercial team through the sales process, from initial discovery to final presentation, to help drive revenue.
Participate in technical discussions with senior client-side stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor.
Help translate intricate technical requirements into clear business outcomes.
Assist in architecting and designing high-level Cloud solutions that integrate Qodea's platform.
Help identify and overcome technical objections, assist in proof-of-concept demonstrations, and provide technical validation.
Act as a point of contact between the pre-sales process and Qodea's internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Requirements
Experience in a pre-sales, solutions architecture, or sales engineering support role within a software or cloud services environment.
Familiarity with a major public cloud platform. Ideally, experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including infrastructure, application modernisation, and data services. A professional-level Google Cloud certification is a plus. Alternatively, experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) will be considered for candidates willing to learn and become proficient in Google Cloud.
The ability to present technical concepts clearly and build good relationships with technical leaders.
Understanding of the sales process and the ability to connect technical solutions with business value.
Eagerness to collaborate effectively with commercial colleagues.
The ability to understand customer needs, identify challenges, and contribute to developing solutions.
