About the role
- Principal Architect at Qodea, shaping cloud architecture and enhancing Google Cloud product sales. Engaging with stakeholders to address technical challenges and enhance customer success.
Responsibilities
- Increase the market penetration of Google Cloud products and services.
- Work closely with colleagues at Qodea and collaborate with Google to nurture existing customers and identify new opportunities.
- Work with the commercial team through the sales process, from initial discovery to final presentation, to help drive revenue.
- Participate in technical discussions with senior client-side stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor.
- Help translate intricate technical requirements into clear business outcomes.
- Assist in architecting and designing high-level Cloud solutions that integrate Qodea's platform.
- Help identify and overcome technical objections, assist in proof-of-concept demonstrations, and provide technical validation.
- Act as a point of contact between the pre-sales process and Qodea's internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Requirements
- Experience in a pre-sales, solutions architecture, or sales engineering support role within a software or cloud services environment.
- Familiarity with a major public cloud platform. Ideally, experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including infrastructure, application modernisation, and data services. A professional-level Google Cloud certification is a plus. Alternatively, experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) will be considered for candidates willing to learn and become proficient in Google Cloud.
- The ability to present technical concepts clearly and build good relationships with technical leaders.
- Understanding of the sales process and the ability to connect technical solutions with business value.
