You will work within the communications team, which aims to raise awareness and strengthen Médecins du Monde’s public profile
As Press Manager, you coordinate, supervise and optimize all media relations activities
You are responsible for monitoring and operational implementation of the press strategy, in line with the communications department’s strategy and Médecins du Monde’s overall strategy, in relation to the priorities set by governance
Reporting directly to the Communications Manager, you will supervise two press officers
You will work closely with members of the communications team, governance, advocacy and operations departments, as well as with press managers and press officers across the network.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in media/press relations
Strong command of tools for tracking press performance
Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
Outstanding writing skills
Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written
