About the role
- Application Support Developer ensuring stability and performance of critical systems at MTTECHNE. Involves investigating issues and collaborating across teams for efficient application management.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and fix bugs, failures, and incidents in PHP applications (versions 7 and 8)
- Analyze logs, metrics, and traces using tools such as AWS CloudWatch and Datadog
- Implement code fixes and small enhancements with a focus on quality and security
- Participate in code reviews and support the deployment and production validation process
- Collaborate with support teams to improve application observability and performance
- Perform unit and regression testing to ensure the stability of deliveries
- Document analyses, solutions, and technical learnings (post-mortems and best practices)
Requirements
- Experience with PHP 7 or 8
- Knowledge of Ext.JS (for analyzing and fixing legacy front-end)
- Experience with unit testing and best practices in version control
- Knowledge of MySQL and MongoDB (queries, indexes, basic tuning)
- Experience with Docker (Kubernetes knowledge is a plus)
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ and messaging systems
- Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Experience in AWS environments and basic monitoring (logs and metrics)
