About the role

  • Develop solutions in specific domains such as Security, Systems, Databases, Networking Solutions, and more
  • Contribute knowledge, guidance, technical expertise, and team leadership skills
  • Communicate complex technical and business concepts effectively to customers and team members
  • Identify and frame problems, lead information collection, and integrate this information for decision making
  • Improve effectiveness, efficiency, and delivery of services through technology and technical methods
  • Drive design, development, integration, delivery, and evolution of scalable distributed software
  • Work closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams throughout the agile software development lifecycle
  • Groom features/user stories, estimate, identify technical risks/dependencies, and communicate them to project stakeholders
  • Maintain and drive clearing of technical debt, vulnerabilities, and currency of third-party components within the product
  • Coach and mentor engineers to design and implement highly available, secure, distributed software in a scalable architecture.

Requirements

  • Experience managing high-performing Payroll IT teams using agile methodologies across regions
  • English Advanced
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent job experience
  • Deep understanding of Payroll and related software development methodologies, practices, programming languages, frameworks, and tools
  • Trained and/or certified in Workday payroll or ADP payroll with hands on experience in config and security
  • Trained and/or certified in Workday payroll or ADP payroll with hands on experience in integration configuration, monitoring and data conversion experience at scale
  • Leadership skills guiding and motivating development teams to deliver solutions that meet business requirements
  • Proficient in project management, including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Business acumen to understand customer needs, market trends, and align software development with business objectives
  • Excellent communication skills in liaising with team members and stakeholders.
