About the role

  • Business Analyst with expertise in Workday Payroll supporting Canadian payroll operations. Ensuring compliance and optimizing Workday functionality for business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for intake of projects and major initiatives
  • Responsible for documentation of business owned artifacts for projects and major initiatives
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations process management to ensure consistency and delivery according to established SLA
  • Work closely with the Test Lead to ensure common testing standards and practices are followed
  • Responsible for execution of all Business Acceptance Test (BAT) testing
  • Provide support on deployment and change management for initiatives relating to applications owned/managed
  • Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
  • 3+ years of Canadian Workday Payroll experience
  • Workday Payroll Certification is an asset
  • US Payroll knowledge is an asset
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax rules, and compliance requirements
  • Strong accounting and general ledger skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Workday including system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rules
  • Working knowledge of other Workday modules: HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
