About the role

  • Partner at CrossCountry Consulting leading client solutions in Risk Advisory. Responsible for delivery, development, team leadership and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of services in financial and compliance risk (e.g., SOX and FIDICA compliance, ESG, regulatory reporting)
  • Lead the development and delivery of services in technology risk (e.g., IT controls, cybersecurity, cloud, emerging technology)
  • Lead the development and delivery of services in strategic and operational risk (e.g., privacy, data governance, third party risk)
  • Lead the development and delivery of services in enterprise-wide risk (e.g., Internal Audit, enterprise risk management programs, and risk transformation)
  • Serve as a key leader in the Risk Advisory practice by overseeing client accounts, projects, and engagements, including work plans, staffing, timelines, fee negotiations, and budgets throughout all lifecycle phases.
  • Leading business development efforts and marketing a full range of services to prospective clients, leveraging existing relationships to generate new opportunities.
  • Developing timely resolutions to issues, mitigating risks, and addressing project team conflicts.
  • Creating delivery methodologies and new service offerings.
  • Managing teams and people by tracking and directing performance against objectives while encouraging continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Shaping the strategic direction of the practice and the market by actively monitoring industry trends, identifying emerging opportunities, and creating new services and solutions that meet market needs.

Requirements

  • 14+ years of experience advising companies on financial, compliance, technology, strategic, operational, and/or enterprise-wide risk.
  • Professional services experience in a client-facing role at an accounting or consulting firm.
  • Expertise in key risk domain standards and frameworks (e.g., SOX, COSO, PCAOB, IIA code of ethics, and technology/cybersecurity frameworks).
  • Depth of subject matter expertise with the ability to share knowledge and enhance a team’s technical capabilities.
  • Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
  • Proven track record in account leadership, financial management of accounts, and client partnership building.
  • Recognized for delivering the highest quality work to clients and sought after for technical acumen and leadership abilities.
  • Proven ability to develop strategies that foster practice development and firm growth.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members and helping project teams resolve complex and multi-faceted issues.
  • Proven record of building and developing strong client relationships with C-level executives that consistently yield results.
