About the role

  • Manage a team of Virtual Assistants, fostering a positive, productive, and engaging work culture. You’ll ensure each team member understands their goals and has the resources they need to succeed.
  • Offer tailored coaching to VAs based on their experience and industry needs. Regularly meet with each VA to discuss performance, set objectives, and provide actionable feedback for growth.
  • Attend 2-3 in-person collaborative sessions per week with the core team to strategize, discuss team progress, and plan initiatives that promote continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Leverage your knowledge of various industries to support VAs in delivering industry-specific solutions, addressing diverse client needs, and adapting to new sectors as required.
  • Set measurable performance goals, track team progress, and identify areas for improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure high standards are consistently met.
  • Act as the first point of contact for escalated issues, working to resolve client concerns, mitigate risks, and implement solutions to improve overall team efficiency.
  • Encourage VAs to share insights and identify areas for personal and professional development. Develop initiatives that inspire ongoing learning and growth within the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role with a strong background in managing and coaching remote teams.
  • Proven ability to guide and motivate team members, helping them achieve their goals and grow in their roles.
  • Broad understanding of various industries and an aptitude for quickly learning new fields to provide guidance to a diverse client base.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering clear, constructive feedback.
  • Experience with remote work tools and platforms (e.g., Discord, Gsuite, Asana), and managing teams across different time zones.
  • Availability to participate in in-person meetings with the core team 2-3 times a week.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and improving team processes.
