About the role

  • Responsible for maintaining departmental processes for Safer Gambling, Enhanced Due Diligence, AML account reviews, and documentation of customers as appropriate.
  • Identifying potential risks and markers of harm to our members that have triggered internal controls; reviewing risk and making risk-based decisions to act when you see evidence of harm or behavior change.
  • Verification of source of funds and source of wealth documentation and request further information if required.
  • Adherence to Compliance policies and processes, assessment of how and when to interact, including recording, reviewing, and rationale for decisions made.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert in the field of Safer Gambling and AML.
  • Assisting players who require assistance with AML or Responsible Gaming matters when required.
  • Liaising with other departments on gambling addiction or potential gambling problems.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements and objectives are carried out along with company business aims and objectives. Monitor player activity and take preventative action if behavior is indicative of a problem.
  • Monitor player transactions and analyze player accounts to identify activities related to money laundering or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitoring systems for previously excluded customers attempting to access the business.
  • Effective resolution of customer complaints in line with our complaint’s procedure.
  • Be the first point of escalation for all Compliance cases and queries.
  • Assist Manager with new member onboarding and ad hoc training sessions for different business areas.
  • Work on other tasks as requested by the management.

  • Robust investigative, risk analysis, assessment, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to switch tasks when required and meet a tight deadline and to remain calm under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to remain calm, empathetic and make decisions in stressful situations.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Willing to work with people at all levels and in all functions, independently and as part of a larger team.
  • You are self-organizing and ensure that your attention to detail and accuracy of work is constant.
