About the role

  • Perform detailed safety inspections by identifying potential hazards and ensuring the correction and elimination of threats to workers’ safety.
  • Develop and review accident prevention programs through continuous analysis of safety processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards such as PPRA (Programa de Prevenção de Riscos Ambientais / Environmental Risk Prevention Program), PCMSO (Programa de Controle Médico de Saúde Ocupacional / Occupational Health Medical Control Program) and LTCAT (Laudo Técnico das Condições Ambientais do Trabalho / Technical Report on Environmental Working Conditions).
  • Conduct thorough accident investigations by analyzing causes and proposing corrective and preventive actions to prevent future incidents.
  • Deliver training sessions and safety presentations, applying educational content to raise awareness and promote the adoption of best safety practices.
  • Participate in and support CIPA (Comissão Interna de Prevenção de Acidentes / Internal Commission for Accident Prevention) activities by coordinating meetings and preventive actions, promoting a safety culture across the organization.
  • Monitor internal and external occupational safety audits by reviewing procedures and documentation, ensuring compliance with current standards and guidelines.
  • Stay up to date with changes in occupational safety and health legislation through continuous study and evaluations, proposing ongoing improvements to internal processes.
  • Monitor safety indicators by analyzing accident and compliance rates, ensuring the implementation of corrective actions when necessary.

Requirements

  • Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety, with registration at the Ministry of Labor (MTE).
  • Experience in Occupational Safety.
  • Excel and PowerPoint (Intermediate).
  • Availability to travel.
  • Active Category B driver’s license.
  • Problem-solving, flexibility, proactivity, and strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis.
