About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop technical designs and projects, ensuring appropriate capacity aligned with business needs and improvements in environmental performance.
- Support the evaluation of technical projects from financial (technical feasibility studies) and environmental perspectives.
- Prepare technical adaptation projects, monitor capacity and platform evolution when necessary, considering the lifecycle of platforms/equipment.
- Prepare technical specifications for RFIs/RFQs/RFPs.
- Validate technical proposals and issue technical reports for these procurement processes.
- Operationalize project handover to operations, coordinating with related areas to deploy, test, and activate projects.
- Assess market-available technical solutions to ensure the technological and architectural evolution of the network, aiming to optimize quality and associated costs while minimizing environmental impacts.
- Track project KPIs, including those related to budget, planning, and control.
- Work with the network planning team to define the three-year industrial budget and subsequent revisions.
- Manage the area's industrial budget.
- Seek technological innovations for network evolution, including energy-efficiency measures to reduce environmental footprint.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed, preferably in Engineering or related fields.
- Knowledge of transmission network technologies and equipment: SDH, PTN, DWDM, SDWDM, switches, BRAS, and routers.
- Knowledge of IP + optical solutions, BGP protocol (IPv4/VPNv4/IPv6/VPNv6) and MPLS L2VPN/L3VPN.
- Knowledge of automation and open programming languages.
- Understanding of budgeting principles and financial management.
- Technical knowledge of telecommunication networks.
- Knowledge of Project Management.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Knowledge of Data Engineering and automation sciences.
- Knowledge of virtualization and cloud engineering.
